VirtualStartPage Review

Basic overview
   VirtualStartPage works on a new concept. You set it as your startpage and they serve you ads to click, every time you start your browser. Additionally they have released their viewbar, so you can use it like any other company. They've had some issues with the Surfbar, but they seem to be resolved now.

Viewbar Info
   The viewbar is purely java, which means no downloading or installing, which means easy access :) It is a small bar and the designing is minimal, but still looks ok. Shows all kinds of ads, like most other companies. And it doesn't need to be on top, to be active - earning money. A big plus. It will however request you to click a star, every 15 minutes to make sure you are at the computer. Also you need to click a few ads, or else your payrate will drop.

How do they pay?
   They pay you on a point-basis. Each StartPage point equals 1 cent and each Surfbar point equals 0.072 cent and you get about 280 points/hour for surfbar. They pay you, when your account status exceeds 20$ if you live in the US. Outside the US, you need 40$ to get a check.
