-[#AllAdvantage@EFNet News]- June News ------------------------------------- New limits ----------- Since June the 1st, AllAdvantage doesn't work with the 25-hr limit any more. The payment limit, the hourly rate and the time restriction have been altered for each country. For most of us, this is bad news, as for the US the hour-restriction has been downed to 15 hrs (!!!!!) each month. The rate got bigger, but doesn't match up for the loss of time. In monthly currency, we see that we, in the USA, had $12.50 each month, wich has been reduced to $7.95, which is quite a loss! The check amount has been recently upped from $20 to $30 which will take a longer time to get a check. There are several rumors spreading around about this fact. Some think it is because of the cheaters, wich means most cheaters were in US and Canada. But according to me, there are cheaters all over the world. That's why we call it a www, isn't it? to be spread around the world. Some people think it has something to do with cash-flow problems. With the current "correction" of the Nasdaq, it might be that AllAdvantage is experiencing problems getting people paid. Well, if it is, blame the cheaters who got over $50,000 and more from AllAdvantage. (heh, no, not one person.. People who want to get referrals, wait a few days before you start with it. The EOM at AllAdvantage always makes their site and addbar as slow as ever. If you do want to try and get referrals, don't send them at AA's www site, but point them to one of the mirror sites (uj.alladvantage.com for instance) Running out of ID-numbers -------------------------- Alladvantage is running out of ID-numbers. At this time, all new members start their ID number with the "R", wich means we're close to the end of the alfabet. The last member in the current ID-form will be ZZZ-999, wich will be the 17.279.000 th member. At the current rate, this number will be handed out around August. A solution to the problem would be reversing it all, making 123-AAA, or use two sets of letters making ABC-ABC. But AllAdvantage will probably will use ABC-1234, wich means an extra digit. May News -------------------------------------- As from the 4th of may, AllAdvantage has finally started taking steps in order to avoid cheating. Everyone who is using the surfbar will be asked to automatically download the newest version of the adbar, version 1.4 From now on, the elder versions of the surfbar won't work any more and will not accumulate surfing time. Why they forced us into this is quite obvious. AllAdvantage came to know about the SOA and thus made a new surfbar wich detects the SOA application. All old versions of any emu's are being detected aswell. Is this a good or a bad thing?! ------------------------------- Well, it's a good thing for every honest player in these programs. With excluding the cheaters, wel, the honest users, will benefit from larger amount of dollars every hour we surf and they will probably be able to allow us more surfing hours. Allready several people have been making money without cheating, and some even get ALOT of money for this (i.e. ttol with $3500/month!) AllAdvantage goes Multi-lingual! -------------------------------- -------------------------------- As from the 25th of april, AllAdvantage has become multilingual. They made special versions from the toolbar and have been setting up pages in several languages. These sites are a mirro of the AllAdvantage home site and have been set up accordingly. So, if the site you're using is down, you can always check out one of the other sites. Don't speak french or german? No problem, the whole website is the same as the one you're used to, so finding your way around isn't very difficult.. Following country's have their own AllAdvantage site : * Australia * Canada * France * Germany * Japan * New Zealand * United Kingdom and offcourse the US site at www.alladvantage.com This is still in the first phase of a project, where AllAdvantage will set up a site in every country that is able to take advantage of the AllAdvantage-project. -------------------------------------- April News -------------------------------------- This Column Written By ShamRock Hi and welcome to #Alladvantage News, Since the viewbar version 1.4 came out, rumors have been that AllAdvantage wants to take care of some known cheat-bugs residing in the previous versions. In order to make sure everyone who signed up at AllAdvantage uses the new viewbar, the previous versions of the bar won't work any more. I don't know yet how they will do this, nor do I when, but I do think this is more then just a rumor. Other viewbars such as Spedia already recognize cheater programs such as FakeSurf. AllAdvantage won't stay out much longer. SOA and EMU users: Beware! AllAdvantage is out to get you! With the release of viewbar 1.4, AA declared war to all cheaters. And this version is only the beginning. Already some programs are threatening that they will sue people who take advantage of certain bugs. So did AllAdvantage. We don't know how far they will go, whether they will only sue the makers of those programs, or the actual users of those programs. Alot of people cheated by making several referrals to their own account. AllAdvantage has started detecting those people. Already several people lost alot of their "cheat-accounts" and will probably be banned from AllAdvantage. Maybe this is a time to stop cheating and start working on the program as it was supposed to be. Please remember that we're all still in the very early stages of these kind of programs and there are a lot of people who don't even know you can make money by surfing the net! Maybe after a while, we'll even be allowed to surf unlimited hours! --------------------------------------
